Oritain vs Traditional Traceability

Oritain measures naturally occurring chemical properties within a product to verify its origin. We call this analysis an Origin Fingerprint, and once created, it can be used to audit products at different points in the supply chain to clearly differentiate the legitimate from the fraudulent. Unlike other traceability methods, it's highly resistant to tampering, replication, or destruction.

Traditional traceability requires the product to have some form of paper/label-based traceability systems. The accuracy of information is only as good as what’s claimed on the label. If these are removed or tampered with as the product moves through the supply chain, traceability is lost.
